"if I just work hard enough, eventually I'll make it" No. cause if you don't make it that means you didn't work hard enough. And that isn't fair to your efforts. there are so many factors outside of your hands. So much success is luck, and failure is not always your fault. cut yourself some slack.

I cannot stress how much Scene Queen hypes me up. Her songs always hit.

unpopular stance: ACAB includes Scully but not Mulder, because there's absolutely no way Fox Mulder understands what the law really is or that his job is to enforce it. he has less capacity for moral cognition than a K9 unit.

I cannot stand being referred to in the corporate “team.” It super annoys me and I really hope this is not just a me thing.

When I first started driving, there was a local clown that drove a vw bug. It was red and said “honk if you love clowns” on the back. I sometimes think about the day that I followed him for too long and wouldn’t stop honking. I lied that day. I don’t love clowns.

It’s hard out here, so count your little victories. Like not falling back into Magic or war gaming because you have adult money.

If you eat a d20, you become a slow dice tower.

Why don't men in the back say "everyone attack" and turn things into a Ballroom Blitz anymore.

Being on social media is wild. One moment you’re reposting cute shit and the next day you found out the wholesome account farted out casual racism on a YouTube video.

1. First #ttrpg you ever played? AD&D aka second edition 2. First you ever ran? AD&D 3. Played the most? AD&D 4. Run the most? Pathfinder 1e 5. Favorite? Hunter: The Reckoning 6. Most recently played? TSR Marvel Super Heroes 7. Most recently run? Pathfinder 1E

Being in a third draft is wild. Like, what do you mean I have to actually let people read my work soon?

A little ode to Brom made as a challenge with some art friendos

It’s cool to feel a sense of accomplishment! I just finished the last page of my current edit. This is the first time I’ve ever gone this far on a book!

My religion? Bad.

Look at this picture of Orion. I love this little man.

Hug your gms, we need it

drafting vs. revising moods

Optimized performance for a very serious office man.

Look at this napped out lil baby.

My Finch hitting me right in the feels today. Love this little guy.

It’s hard being a work, knowing my bittiest boy is getting treated like this.

Apollo is all tuckered out from being disruptive during our #ttrpg night. #cat #caturday

your daily cat, star baby edition ✨

for the record, meet percy 🩵 - he's a perfect floof, - is very particular about his cuddles - makes the best chirps when he's excited

and here's his mini sized brother, orion. - he looks like a muppet sometimes - his tail is powerful enough to knock most things it comes in contact with - our most photogenic baby

My fellow authors, I cannot stress enough how much sites like Goodreads ARE NOT FOR US.

Have a picture of when Apollo was just a wee lad.

Improving your mental health and breaking old cycles is kinda wild regarding just how much work you have to do. No wonder it feels impossible to tackle when you are stressed

Sometimes I kinda miss rollerball mice. Also it’s a missed opportunity that we call them mice instead of turtles.

How did the tech bro crowd, growing up on stories of sci-fi, transhumanism, virtual reality and limitless ability to modify one's body, "biohacking," etc. end up becoming so viscerally anti-transgender? Truly boggles my mind.

Welp. Looks like this is the primary social media for me now. Don’t worry, I still won’t post. Or skeet. Or whatever it’s called.

I was finally able to work on edits for my WIP yesterday after 2 months of being unable to. It felt good to be back at it, but kind of sad that my day-to-day kept me away from it for so long. Oooh boy I was going through some of the crazier stuff and that was fun.

Almost lost to burnout this year. Next year I’m going in swinging

- AD&D and Vampire: the Masquerade. - I defended AD&D all the way until 3.5, then never looked back at THAC0- my homebrew world from those days is now my primary setting for my 5E stories. Vampire I don’t exactly look back on with much fondness, but it did introduce me to Hunter: the Reckoning.

I'm in this photo and I don't like it

Let’s do this!

I needed good news today. Thank you, Evil Dead, you are the franchise that is always here for me.
