I’m sorry it affects you too. Is so relatable. My neighbor is supposed to be my caregiver but she just got out of the hospital. It’s a rough state of affairs when your caregivers need caregivers too. Wish we all had the right supports

I wrote a children's story about a magical horses imbued with invisible powers of insects, specifically their prophesied champion, who had dragonfly wings. They saved children from abuse & misery. Circa 1980 & I illustrated it too

When my friend was hurt her horse balked at a jump & she fell forward, & then the horse spooked & trampled her. She got caught in the reins under its hooves. Broke her skull & back. She lived but was in a cast for months & took years for her to regain walking. Horsepower is aptly named & no joke

True. The only reason a horse will ever trample is if it is spooked (scared) to a fight/flight state. They will never willingly trample any living thing This means the horse was more scared of its rider than anyone else I used to ride horses daily & I've seen someone trampled, she almost died

The officer dragged her by the arm! Horses can BREAK SPINES & SKULLS. I've seen in person! Anyone who is ever trampled should be held immobile until rescue arrives! Any slight chance of a spinal injury should NEVER be dragged about by an arm! OMFG HOLD them ALL responsible! Horrible. Hope she lives

I used to ride horses daily. One time my friend fell forward at a balked jump & then the horse spooked and trampled her. It broke her skull and her back. She survived but had to be in a body cast for months and it took about 3 years before she could walk again is called horsepower for reasons
