Critical reporting from Stephanie Nolen on what the interruption of TB funding actually means for those living with the disease--and those caring for them. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/11/h...

Gotta find the joy where you can

The choice, since the golden escalator, has been whether we take what Trump says seriously or not. Every time, when it's time to call him out, the argument "You're not gonna take that seriously, are you?" or plain ignorance of his rhetoric has almost always swayed things enough for him.

The butterfly effect is so weird. Like you play with legos one day as a kid and it causes a chain of events to getting an architect license. Or, even crazier, one rich idiot with a piss fetish goes to Russia thirty years ago and now measles are back. Wild.

Transparency is so key to this administration, even Trump's clothes, which are definitely there and expensive, are nearly transparent. Some might say he isn't wearing clothes, but don't be fooled, he is just that transparent. Just look at all that ruddy skin!

Why would Noem need to run campaign commercials for a term-limited presi-- Oh.

If Russia wants peace, they should end the invasion.

I’m not going to the Joint Address. I will be live posting and chatting with you all here instead. Then going on IG Live after.

If Congress isn't going to do it's job, we need to start ousting then. Swap em out, they done gone bad.

Every day proves Republicans were always afraid of Republicans. Everything they said we should fear was their plan to profit.

Veering away from politics for a bit. Recently been stunned at the slow growth shown in computational design writ large. There are still amazing people making strides, but I feel like a weird plateau was hit around 2018 and we don't talk about it. Maybe just me? #bim

Checking my bank account every day for a deposit from the government since I've been hearing about all the money they've been saving lately. Nothing yet but it's probably coming soon

CDC’s public health associate program (PHAP) was destroyed this weekend. All trainees terminated. PHAP stations young public health workers in state, local, territorial, and tribal health departments to train in and provide technical assistance for surveillance, communications, lab work, and more.

Interesting read from a professor of mine, looking forward to part 2: architecturefarm.wordpress.com/2025/02/16/a...

Looking ahead, this flurry of EOs leading to lawsuits is like a predator testing the fence still. There is damage, but not nearly as much as when they figure out which laws to remove to make what they are doing legal (ie, ADA). The Dems need to make a big move now to throw them off balance

In case it isn't obvious with the AP news stuff, Gulf of Mexico vs Gulf of America is becoming a quick dog whistle for maga loyalty.

It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too. EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them. Here’s our shareable guide ⬇️: (pt. 1/2)

Who you really think is in control here?

Tariffs on steel and aluminum will absolutely crash the AEC industry.

Kendrick brought America together the way that "Country Roads" ad was supposed to.

The leopards wont even eat this.

The following annual employee trainings have been scrapped at the Department of Veterans Affairs. The impact will be incalculable.

What's that you say? Your house is on fire? Well friend, why are you waiting for some unelected firefighter to come and waste your tax dollars to spray a little water? Gas is what you need friend! And it just so happens I sell that for a nominal fee!

Funny how that works

Yeah so the Constitution isn’t really in effect right now

Got to see one of my godsons this past weekend and take him on his first trip to Disney World. Tired and exhausted, but wouldn't trade being able to carry him on my shoulders for the world. It's these moments that are gonna get me through the next four years.

🚨BREAKING: The Federal Bureau of Investigation Agents Association files federal court lawsuit against Department of Justice over the improper targeting of agents previously involved in politically sensitive investigation. For more details follow @democracydocket.com. www.democracydocket.com

Medicare and Medicaid are on the chopping block, Department of Education is being dismantled, we are being dragged into trade and land wars, my senators and reps do nothing but capitulate to the system, and Social Security is next to go, all for a couple of chucklefucks.

Very foggy this morning, had to stop suddenly on entry ramp to I4, oversized semi couldn't stop in time, had to pull to left shoulder while he pulled right, took a beat realizing everyone was ok, we all started driving again. Somehow perfect metaphor for my mental state during this administration.

He’s doing LITERAL ANTICHRIST SHIT now. youtube.com/shorts/n60wA...

If you wanted to decrease the cost of homes, one thing you wouldn’t do is put a flat tariff on your main source of timber.

Happy Black History Month, and yeah, we're still doing that.
