Just spotted a squirrel with a stumpy tail. I wonder if this is the scrawny one I've been seeing? I'll keep an eye out and see how it does. We have a LOT of walnut trees on this property and they've been gathering them hard this past month. But I know for a fact there isn't much inside those shells.

She explains why on her Goodreads account -- All I can say is when stupid The One 16 year old Mary Sue books which reads like juvenilia is everywhere, & this isn't in the US? WTF.

I was reading a fiction book last night that helped me understand why trad publishing is 1.) not growing in readership & 2.) why I rarely buy books published in the last 10 years anymore unless its by a favorite writer. Trad pub is churning out crap & calling it gold.
