I thought you were going to say you need 5 rings to be able to summon Captain Jock, the guy who clearly peaked in high school and always talks about the good old days🤣

Just waiting for the day they rule it unlawful and discriminatory for the ultra rich to bequeath their wealth to their children. Cap it at say R10m.

Wow, that's a new one😰 I never thought of it that way. It's usually a mad panic when taking the last dose on figuring out how I can get to the pharmacy that same day, and if a prescription is required then there's even more panic😅

The short sightedness of President Trusk is a little bit funny. Yes, many countries are going to feel the pain of these funding cuts and tarrifs in the short to medium term. But in the long term it will mean the US will have significantly less leverage and influence over the world than it has now.

If you must use AI, I generally tell my students to Do the work first themselves, do the reading, thinking, drafting, then if they must, use AI to help improve the writing/grammar/find holes in their work, etc. Retain control, don’t use it as a crutch or as an outsourcing of your brain. My 2c.

I used AI to generate some goals given some very broad and vague themes. It got me 90% of the way, and I just needed some cleaning up and refinement. The problem is I can see how easy it would be to wholly rely on it when you don't have the time, and its output is "good enough". Enshitification 2.0
