Don't forget to appreciate the sparrows. They may not be as colorful or flashy as other birds, but they are beautiful #birds #wildlife #photography 🌿

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general. If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

Here's a B&W edit of one of my northern lights photos from 5/10/24 #photography #aurora #astro

I'm happy to announce that I now have a portfolio on fine art America where you can buy prints or other products featuring my photos! For now I just have my northern lights collection, including these 4 photos and more #photography #aurora #astro fineartamerica.com/profiles/byr...

Sometimes people find the color in Aurora photos misleading, as what you see in real life oftentimes looks mostly grey. This photo from the early morning substorm on May 11th I edited specifically to look like what I saw with my own eyes. It was incredibly beautiful #photography #aurora #astro

My favorite type of photo are ones that look like a painting upon first glance. I have a few that I feel for this category, including these 2 beauties #birds #wildlife #photography 🌿

The elegant hooded merganser drake, one of the prettiest ducks in the Midwest imo #birds #wildlife #photography 🌿

Last night I found out that a relative of mine passed away. Even more cause for reflection #birds #wildlife #photography 🌿

Gull action shots are fun #birds #wildlife #photography 🌿

Which shot do you prefer? Zoomed in or zoomed out? #birds #wildlife #photography 🌿

One of the great things about having a high quality lens is that it allows me to crop more for artistic purposes. With my old 75-300, I couldn't do much cropping at all without losing a ton of image quality #birds #wildlife #photography 🌿
