I think fighting games should explicitly ship with two matchmaking modes. High Player Count: Quickmatch, Rankings, ELO, SBM. Any UX that requires a lot of players to properly function. Low Player Count: Huge open lobbies, optional ELO, matchmaking is player driven as much as possible. #gamedev 🧵
