It's really disappointing how all of these credible NHL people feel the need to address a Robertson rumour that originated from a not credible source.

Mark I perceive you in a generally positive way and think your motives are mostly good. But you still fail to grasp just how many of us don't want any interaction with fascists, even if they like the same sports teams or tv shows or securities as we do. I don't want to hear from them at all. Period.

Isn't that the point here? To make her a person Republicans can hire to deal with the press?

That seems to be where this is leading, no? Switch out expert subject matter journalists for pro-Oligarchy slop? Don't forget - in 2025 it's YOU giving credibility to the NYT and not the other way around.

I work for an airline and you would be stunned at how many people use third party lending companies to buy air travel.

Just the assumption that free and fair elections will be held in four years is incredibly naive.

Privatize the profits, socialize the losses.

The average Leafs fan has no idea they are in the top 10 in NTC/NMC appearances on contracts. You are not a Sunbelt market players are tripping over themselves to play in. There is no player league wide interested in playing 2C for Toronto next year that provides the value a discounted Tavares does.

You guys are on something. Jason Robertson is never going to sign with Ottawa in his prime, and for that reason they won't be trading for him. You're trying to get clicks instead of realistic analysis and it's beneath you.

All the important takeaways here are in the reasons they did not

And here I am trying to explain to my son that it's not that the Jays are good but that the Athletic's are bad

I keep hearing this rumour but it seems like it's credible reporters like Friedman repeating rumours from less than credible reporters like David Pagnotta.

Just as we were becoming closer to the Brits!

What a scoop THAT would be. And then we would have to grapple with the revolting fact that completely making up a story is not enough to get a CNN personality fired from their seven figure job.

Why would you believe anything he says.

I agree. 'What will she do next?' was an enormous failure. Albertans need more visibility into how our taxes enrich Petro Oligarchs rather than supporting everyday workers, even in O+G.

I don't think you are a centrist but a lot of American liberals mistake themselves as being progressive in a global sense.

Her party is governed by fossil fuel Oligarchs. Secessionists and anti-public health activists are her willing distractors.

He bought an election less than a year ago! Maybe write this if he opts out of 2028.

I follow like 1000 people on this site and the only one talking about crypto is you. Life is too short to watch advertising so I don't watch cable tv or use web browsers that permit ads. Just because various 'entrepreneurs' advertise crypto to you constantly doesn't make it a good or necessary thing

Also he was just over half a point per game in the regular season with superstar exposure. Can't read too much into a small hot streak in May.

Also the CBC is quoting solely anonymous sources in this piece that is not actually influenced by any events since the election. This article is not informing Canadians of any real news and didn't need to be written, but it was.

Maybe if Alberta is nice to the planet we can one day have Spring and Fall.

Yeah no matter how many Toronto Sports radio shows think Duchene will be receptive to an offer he is not leaving Dallas unless they completely insult him on next year's contract.

At some point we need to stop giving Ashley Parker and the Atlantic the 'fell for it again' award and realize this kind of PR is malice, not ignorance. They are trying to help Musk and to insinuate otherwise is insanity.
