Senator Baldwin hasn't said anything about that so far, I don't expect much to change there. Somehow immigration is a toxic issue for purple state senators in super white states that are thousands of miles from the border.

Wouldn't bet on it. If the tariffs go into effect that's going to be a lot of pain on small businesses. Unemployment will go up at a time prices go up too. Fears of a recession are not overblown and will play out over weeks and months.
