I watch zero live TV myself. I saw the original trailer, whenever that was. The one that just showed the Red Hulk hand picking up the shield at the very end. But since then… *crickets*

I check the Previewsworld “comics on sale this week” every Sunday morning for everything except DC and then copy/paste anything I’m getting into a notes app. Then for DC I go to League Of Comic Geeks, filter by company for DC, then the same copy/paste.

Jaws The Revenge so we can hear the “I haven’t seen the film, but I have seen the house it paid for” story again. Also, how Michael Caine couldn’t attend the Oscars and collect his award due to filming it. Timely, with this years nominations being announced this week.

Agree 100% on the former, which is why I largely withdrew from comic talk at the old place. So much of it seemed to be “LOOK HOW BIG MY (collection) IS!” which just isnt my tempo. As for the latter, my problem is I’m too verbose and can’t fit what I want to say, so the “1 A Day” format works for me

I can’t get on with Kindle or e-readers of any kind (again, somewhat absurd given the amount of time we all spend on our phones). They just don’t work for me. I don’t take the words in properly. It has to be a proper physical book for me. Or audiobooks, but only for non-fiction. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I should clarify (and will again later, when I post my yearly round up of movies watched, TV watched, games played, books read, comics read, podcasts listened to), only about 3/4ths of that number were actual physical books, the rest were audiobooks. 76 physical and 25 audio, to be exact.

Also, by complete coincidence, the one I’m reading today, #101, is one that I think you, in particular, would be interested in…

I always set myself a target of 100 per year and usually make it. This year, due to a few books that were slogs and also real life distractions, I was only up to 93 on Xmas Day. 7 books to go, with 7 days left? No chance, right? Thanks to some admittedly small books, I’m going to hit 101 today.
