I've only played Call of Cuthulu once, but I enjoyed my time with the system. Briefly looking at Dread it looks like a real good game for a get together. I'll have to take your advice.

A friend of mine made a 5E based ttrpg system that is sci-fi with new races, classes, and backgrounds. One of his races, called the Sprigg, are basically Florans and I am having a blast playing one.

Completely agree, I always find myself coming back to Starbound mostly because of the character building. Plus the weapon system feels made for a TTRPG. Are novakids your favorite Starbound race? (Definetly the hottest)
