Yeah he's more evil than stupid.

Rubio is less stupid than he seems because he's just a bootlicker yes man doing things for stupid people. Kristi Noem being max stupid/ evil is spot on though.

Not for anything but he's pretty vocal about what he's doing and how he's engineering Project 2025, so I don't think he'd "hate if this went viral." Can't shame the shameless.

I already have all the dystopia that I can handle. I don't need Severence to be real too.

He should never have a moment's peace ever again.

He's not conservative but is any Republican conservative anymore? They're few and far between. Their sycophantic placation of Trump is largely why I unenrolled from the Republican party in 2016.

One thing I've learned especially in this Trump admin is that the general public, even those who are educated, have little to no idea how the federal government functions.

Excellent article clearing up a lot of what people don't understand about how bad the immigration system in this country has always been.

He should be treated like federal employees. No remote/telework, strict 9 to 5 schedule, track the exact time his keycard enters the building, threaten to fire him every day and tell him he's useless.

Fuck off, Elon.

Is this just a suggestion or will pregnant women be absolutely unable to get it at all?
comment in response to

Maybe just maybe instead of torturing federal employees by taking away telework and flexible schedules they could incentive all employers to promote work-life balance policies? 🤔 People just might want kids if they're not nonstop stressed all the time.

I have over a decade and a half of immigration experience and can't think of any situation where I've seen ER used outside of border apprehensions.

I guess spending a ton of money to make everyone hate you wasn't worth it.

Also, I feel like Andrew Jackson could have easily gotten us on the Human Rights Watch List if it, you know, existed in the 1800s.

They don't wear uniforms because most of these agencies by and large do not *have* uniforms.

She's all appearance and no substance.

I think this is a spot-on assessment of what she, and to some extent all of them, are doing. It's much more obvious with her because of how drastically she's changed her looks over the years and her frequent use of law enforcement-branded clothing in her dress.
comment in response to

What she did to herself is ridiculous. Like this is kind of a bad haircut, but her face looks normal and relatively attractive here instead of looking like a blow-up doll.
comment in response to

She's constantly playing up photos of herself dressing up in different outfits and pretends that this is leadership. Bad plastic surgery aside, she's all appearance with no substance.

100%. Our nanny was taking care of my son when I teleworked. I wasn't feeding him while working, but at least I'd get to say hi during my breaks.

I'm in the same boat. Having a hybrid schedule and AWS allowed me to see me son when he woke up in the morning, during lunch, and have one day a pay period with him. I'm expecting my second and I'm worried I'm hardly ever going to get to see him. I'm already losing a lot of time with my toddler.

Thank you so much for this. It means alot to me as a fed mom going through these same struggles.

I feel like US protests and resistance so far have had a lot less comedy/art/ creativity compared to successful resistance movements in other countries. This is definitely an area that's lacking.
comment in response to

I'm going to make a guess without Googling that the US is the #1, maybe #2 producer of films in the world (because I know India produces ALOT, but no idea if it eclipses US) and this is largely a dumb idea that makes a problem out of nothing.

Please. The administration that's putting classified info on Signal and trying to force out experienced DHS employees and decided the Terrorist Screening Center shouldn't focus on terrorists doesn't give a damn about national security.

DOGE is actively hurting kids and families. They removed telework from federal employees, they forced everyone in DHS to change their schedules to strict 8 hour shifts. I had a flexible schedule for years and as long as I worked 80 hrs over 10 days, I was good.
