Last time the US did this, the world went into a global depression. Trump is destroying the world economy to line his own pockets & those of his friends and family. And if he is that super smart as dome claim, then He MUST know what he is doing & doesn't care about who it hurts.

Then others think Trump isn't that smart and is only imposing tarrifs in his own petty vendetta on whichever country whose leader he decides isn't worshipping him appropriately. Either way, he is destroying the world economy for his own selfish/self centered reasons.

What happens is this... he announces tarrifs, which causes the stock market drops, he, his mates & family all buy stocks at rock bottom prices. Then he ssys he will postpone the tarrifs and the stock market bounces back which makes the value of said stock rise.
