It's good someone's attempted to quantify it, even though it's bleedin' obvious.

Absolutely & they openly admit it's happening to get the attention of MSM & social media. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024...

In their half-yearly report yesterday, the Australian biotech company CSL Ltd cited vaccine hesitancy in the US as a reason why revenue from their vaccine products has dropped. The share price took a hit on the ASX & it might get worse now that RFK Jnr has reportedly been confirmed.

I didn't - couldn't bring myself to - watch, but using a maths analogy, her obsessive bothsidesing is not so much impartial as *zero value*.

So the GOPers suddenly grasp the moral hazard of letting Musk run amok in the US govt? Anyway, I won't hold my breath waiting for those spineless empty suits to put their thoughts & words into action.

Interesting also that the NY Post is owned by Murdoch. Maybe the US$787mill settlement with Dominion voting machines has made News Corp more hesitant to buy into these kooky conspiracy theories?

harsher penalty deterrnce is the most disproven political claim in crime policy. Here is the 2025 Productivity Commission report detailing over $25 billion spent on maintaining a carceral state that does not stop <AND IS ITSELF> violence. www.pc.gov.au/ongoing/repo...

Good choice but more an 80s-wanker car I reckon (eg Tom Cruise in 'Risky Business')

Some mechanic friends of my dad tried to sell him this exact same model Miura in the mid-80s. Only about $7K back then if I remember. He had the good sense to decline.

Yes, or that uniquely 70s orange all the car companies were using. We had a teacher in HS who drove 1 of these (& he was a bit of a wanker).

Also it's an average figure. The whole fleet of new cars by a manufacturer are considered and averaged. So as long as you bring in a couple of EV models your average emissions will enable you to import gas guzzling behemoths.
