I'm currently helping a cohort of 20 plan and launch their own profitable networking events in 6 weeks. All have their first sponsors. All have found venues to host it (one in a Gem museum!), all are already building incredible databases.

The world doesn't work in absolutes. Pretending it does reflects poorly on you. Holding two conflicting ideas in mind and being able to discuss them is a key tenant of intelligence and civilization.

In the age of AI, the value of knowledge is rapidly diminishing. The value of taking action will become exponential.

Buyers don't have great imaginations. Don't confuse them by telling them everything you can do for them. Keep it simple, find out their problem, show how you can solve it.

Young entrepreneurs (or anyone career ambitious). The 2 biggest skills you can develop that your future self will thank you for are: - Networking. Understanding how to add enough value that people want to know you. - Communications skills. Written and verbal. Timeless and priceless.

There is a compelling argument that more value will be created in the next 10 years than in the past 100 because of AI. Whatever the numbers, there is no question the ride will be wild and destabilising. With the barrier to entry so low, why would anyone not want to become AI competent?

If you could meet your hero, what would you ask them? This question sparked an epiphany in me as a young entrepreneur. My hero was Sir Richard Branson and I couldn't come up with a question that I felt was suitable. I realised I needed to level up myself before I could even engage at that level.

Entrepreneurship & AI People used to define their company as 'An Accountants' or 'A Bakery' 'A web developer' etc. A few years ago, a very useful hack to grow your business was to add '& media'. This forced companies to think of themselves as media companies which is what all companies needed.
