i don’t eat meat either! i eat a lot of legumes but soybeans and black beans and others have better macros than peanuts for me. also lots of whey and dairy etc

i think pb is decently high calorie tbh but the fat to protein ratio is kinda not ideal for most goals

they’re in ballpark range of other legumes, but 8-10x more fat content! and when people eat a serving of peanut butter it’s usually only like 8g of protein; you’d need to eat a lot to hit 25g in a meal and that would also be a very high fat meal

good point. big brain. in this case i am usually getting my coffee from my coworking space where it comes hot but this is true when making it myself, for now i just let it cool off before putting the lid on the cup
