BREAKING: The United States joined Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Eritrea, Mali, Nicaragua, Niger and Sudan in voting against a UN General Assembly resolution condemning Russian aggression against Ukraine. The resolution, initiated by Luxembourg and Lithuania, was backed by 105 countries.

Harris Faulkner's Fox News show has been on for 20 minutes now. She has not mentioned tariffs or stocks once and a stock ticker isn't being displayed. Strong state media vibes.

The biggest tax rises in US history

When people look back on the Iraq war, many are just speechless, wondering how it could go that far, but this notion will totally pale in comparison when in future Americans will look back to this times and wonder what insanity rode this Trump administration to attack the best allies and friends,…

There is virtually no better commercial you can run for the European defense industry than these two sentences uttered by Trump. No matter with whom I’m talking about this on this side of the pond, the common understanding is that this is going to severely damage the US industry.

Tucker Carlson: Do you think the Russians want to march across Europe? Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff: “100% not… why would they want to absorb Ukraine? For what purpose? They don’t need to absorb Ukraine..”

It’s clear from this that the only difference between Steve Witkoff’s and Vladmir Putin’s views on the war in Ukraine is that Putin actually knows the names of all the five Ukrainian regions he wants to keep.

Why does Putin want a ceasefire on energy infrastructure? Because Ukraine has been blowing up Russian oil refineries like hell, and with winter over, hits on 🇺🇦 energy supply hurt less. This “ceasefire” benefits Russia: they get to keep killing Ukrainians AND keep their refineries safe.

Who else thinks that the restoration of military aid was just an attempt to distract us all from the emerging Molotov-Ribbentrop pact between Trump & Putin

A spokesman for a murderous dictator wanted for war crimes by The Hague says the call with Trump went well.

During the battles for Sudzha on the Kursk front, Russians used blue tape to disguise themselves as Ukrainian soldiers. This was shown on their television. That's how stories about the "atrocities of the AFU" emerge later.

Trump continues to insist daily that Putin just wants peace.

As suggested here days ago, Trump is now claiming he “saved Ukrainian soldiers encircled by Russian soldiers in Kursk” by talking to Putin. The Ukrainian soldiers were never encircled. It was a plot set up to give concessions to Putin.

So: Russia flatly rejected one Trump envoy (Kellogg), made the next one (Witkoff) wait for eight hours, rejected the ceasefire, and instructed Trump that his job is to give Russia what it wants. That’s what Trump means by "respect" I guess.

💢This is just another sign that the world order is crumbling, with powerful leaders getting a free pass to commit crimes without fear of consequences. It’s as if the message is being sent out loud and clear: “Do whatever you want – no one’s going to hold you accountable.”

Supporting Ukraine isn't about "virtue signalling" it is about standing up for our shared security interests across the free world

Reports Putin is planning to open a new front can't be a surprise Trump has emboldened him

“Appease Putin at your peril.”

Russia attacked a hospital in Kharkiv region with drones last night, and repeatedly targeted rescuers. A 33-year-old employee of the emergency crew was wounded. The explosion caused the roof of the building to catch fire, the flames spread over 1,500 square meters.

When Hitler started ranting about the Jews from streetcorners in the 1920s, he was part of a long history of European anti-Semitism. But where in the world did this massive anti-trans campaign come from? I feel like it was invented out of whole cloth in the last five years.

Trump Recession Timeline: 1. This will be a Golden Age on Day 1! Prices will come down and economy will boom! 2. These policies won’t cause a recession. We know what we’re doing. 3. Ok, it will cause short-term pain but will be good in long term. 4. This is Biden’s recession!

So I guess the next brilliant Art of the Deal move from the guy who bankrupted casinos is to give Europe as many reasons as possible not to buy weapons systems from US companies right after the EU announced an intent to spent nearly a trillion more on defense.

Europe needs to rearm fast, not only to deter Russia but also to deter China from invading Taiwan in the absence of American leadership

The economic cost of letting dictators invade who they want is far greater than the cost of deterring aggression

"Stalemate that Ukraine will inevitably lose" I didn't know Elon was a military expert. If it is inevitable Ukraine will lose why is there a stalemate on the battlefield?🤔

1. Marco Rubio is an idiot. Just today, Musk threatened to cut Starlink off from Ukraine. And bragged about how devastating it would be for them if he did. 2. And demanding that a US ally genuflect before us and offer thanks, à la JD Vance, for us not actively getting them killed is disgusting.

This is what “US stopping intelligence sharing” meant for Ukraine. It is just one of the examples from the past week.

Trump doesn't care about democracy, either in the US or abroad That's why he tried to overturn the 2020 election That's why he's abandoning Ukraine

The latest from @phillipsobrien.bsky.social in which he notes the US has cut medical aid to Ukraine, and may have colluded with the massive Russian missile attack that occurred almost immediately after the US intelligence flow had been switched off. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

Putin was counting on Trump. He was Russia’s only hope. And Trump is now delivering for Putin.
