The cumulation of all of their elaborate work can be seen in this poster presentation, which highlights how the new vibratome works well for their complex electrophysiology and imaging work! Kudos to the two teams on incredible work, and stay tuned for more information on the 9000smz!

Busy behind the scenes the past few months, researchers in both Bruno Frenguelli's lab at @warwicklifesci.bsky.social and Stuart Greenhill's lab at @astonpress.bsky.social have been hard at work validating the new 9000smz vibrating microtome!

Now 55 years later, the company is located in the Midlands of England (these days no room or desire for a factory behind Kensington Palace) and we constantly strive to manufacture the best products for translational scientific research!🧠🔬🥼 Stay tuned for more history and some exciting news!

This work was headed by @tessmcbride.bsky.social in Jonathan Plett's Group at @westernsydneyu.bsky.social. They highlight the highly complex relationship between plants and fungi. Studying the relationship is possible due to the development of effective methods for visualisation and measurement.
