So I have to add hivis to the torso of this coverall. Would anybody care to make suggestions?

Two zippers salvaged from my old uniform pants. These *should* give me enough space in the legs for getting in/out with boots on. They're about half way up my lower leg from my ankle, so they'll be a bit lower than that since I'll hem the legs for wearing boots

I should cut the legs to the right length, then sew in the zippers, then actually sew the hem for the legs right? (and do the hivis at the same time as the zippers I guess, to make sure they're caught into together)

I love when I beg for the Blue Jays to do good things and then they do.

you know it could be worse, I could be babbling on about sewing *and* baseball *and* gardening *and* writing instead of just the first two.

I take no credit for that Barger double. (Though, Bo.. come on! score from first on a double)

i guess it's barger first, then Vladdy, but same thing applies. Runs. Please. More Blue Jays runs please.

Come on Vladdy, something good here. A home run? A double? A single? Any of these would be good. Would prefer a home run or double

because the coverall legs are so much larger than the uniform pant legs, I'm going to take two legs worth of hi-vis, stitch them together to form one continuous band, (for each leg), then I'll somehows sow the ends into the side of the zipper, or something, (in addition to topstitching the band)

come on Blue jays, please score a bunch more runs. (Also, Kirk, snap out of it. Get hits please)

if management complains, i can honestly point out that everything I've done to the coveralls is authentic city of Toronto uniform. (salvaged hi-vis, salvaged zippers)

Since I will be salvaging hi-vis strips from old worn-out uniform pants, I think I can probably salvage the zipper from those uniform pants as well. It would save me buying zippers and that's some small cost.

Does nobody ever just go away quietly?

And hopefully from there I can make myself A pair of boxers, then I can do the first attempt at Ashley's dress, so we can figure out the full bust adjustment

I think tomorrow I will pin the legs and arms and cut them and then hem them. Since the pockets are in the right place. I think I'm going to have to unpick the side seams of the legs to get the hi vis in neatly, then sew back up. Hopefully I can unpick the shoulder seams to get shoulder boards in.

Okay. I think I'm going to keep these. I'm going to shorten the legs and shorten the sleeves (and put on new snaps) is going to be quite voluminous but that's okay

I'm thinking.. maybe I should get one size down and alter that instead. Although on the other hand, I want this to be a garment I can wear on-top of uniform and sweater and stuff

okay. So. Zippers... they don't really seem that complicated? I mean, open the seam up the leg the length of the zipper, then sew the zipper into the two sides? I've watched a video and that seems pretty straight forward. I'd love to do an invisible zipper but I dunno if that's possible

I need to shorten the legs for sure. But I also want to add hivis to the legs (which I'm hoping I can salvage from another pair of pants, add zippers to the legs so I can get them on and off with my boots on, and shoulder boards (from the leg material I cut off)

A judge ruled EPA termination of environmental justice grants was unlawful. EPA cannot “thumb its nose at Congress” by refusing to spend appropriated funds, the judge wrote.

Got some coveralls from work and need to figure out the changes in going to make

Who had two thumbs and might be picking a fight with union leadership?

Sooooo, it turns out if you're disabled, you get to skip ALL the lines at the Louvre, and get your picture taken with the Mona Lisa. Hope my smile's as enigmatic as hers...

We like 3 hole Vlad

With 2 more Jays CF getting hurt tonight, bringing the total to 4 (pending severity), RJ Schreck was taken out of the game for AAA Buffalo tonight. Was only his 9th AAA game so that'd be a fast jump, if that's the contingency for CF depth.

This is the first time in Blue Jays history that they've had 4 different players play CF in the same game. The 2000 Detroit Tigers once had 5 in the same game.

REWRITE!!! Bo Bichette ties it up with a no-doubt solo shot to Deep Left Field with 1out in the bottom of the ninth. #Bluejays

And Addison Barger walks it off. 5-4 #Bluejays on back-to-back home runs in the bottom of the ninth.

Back to back home runs to win the game. Good job boys. More of the winning tomorrow and the next day please. Very much hope my alarms go off tomorrow. They didn't this morning. Don't want to be late again.

Good job Bo. Now win this game please Blue Jays

Would love for Vladdy to get another home run here

Like we saw in Philadelphia, but not before, #Bluejays respond to their opponents' two-run inning to take the lead by going down in order. 3-2 #DBacks to the 6nd.

Come on Blue Jays please win this game
