This is the kind of entertainment that American populists would love to see. Crass, exploitative and disrespectful about sums it up.

Don’t give him any credit. He threatened to do a stupid thing that Americans didn’t want and his approvals went into the toilet. So he calls failure a victory and retreats.

A 39% approval rating in the US, and dropping, for very good reasons. If Canadian opinions of him counted, he would be under water.

Not a chance because Trump only hears what he wants to hear and ignores the rest. He thinks that he can bully Ukraine into capitulation to Russia.

How do you know Donald Trump is lying? Answer: His lips are moving.

Hah! More like Blanchet is the head of 'an artificial federal party with very little meaning'. Canada is willing to accommodate Quebec distinctiveness. The USA is Quebec's second choice as a country to join - it cannot exist on its own. Good luck with how the USA would "accommodate" Quebec culture.

Anyone in Canada who looks south and says that they find what is going on in the USA attractive and that they want that for themselves and their neighbours, is as big a loser and undesirable as the typical Trump supporter. Fortunately, most Albertans prefer Canadian values.

Trump has said that he only hires "the best people". "Fool me once shame on you". Fool me twice, three times, four times..., shame on the American voter.

I'm pretty sure electors are going to give Poilievre a "wake up" call on April 28.

When Trump says America is getting rich from tariffs, he means that the government is getting rich from the Trump tariff taxes that American importers have to pay, then pass along their losses to the American people. So Trump wins and Americans lose.

There’s more to this than they are saying. At least they will receive due process and aren’t in a Salvadorean prison like that poor guy who was wrongly deported.

Wow! I knew this guy was the right man for the moment to lead Canada forward.

An American justified Trump's tariffs by saying that over time "the heart had gone out of America", referring to the country's industrial decline. This is "literally" true as well because Americans have been heartless in unfairly punishing others for their economy's & their workforce's shortcomings.

That “shining city on a hill” is full of MAGAs who prefer child labor to employing immigrants. How sick is that?

How about a finding that everything ever signed in the USA with autopen is invalid? Not sure anyone wants to go there.

No way on God’s green earth that a fat, weak, 78-year-old hacker like Trump could beat all the younger, lower-handicap golfers at his club without some serious cheating going on.

Adding a surcharge on power going to the USA is no worse than Trump tariffs on Canadian goods and is therefore fair game. Cutting off power to the USA isn't going to happen unless Trump tariffs put our backs against the wall.

The conclusions about the destructive economic policies of President Trump draw themselves.

Bullcrap. I doubt it's the vaccine in a lot of cases. I suspect it's mostly the needle. A lot of these big, brave testosterone-deficit ant-vaxers are absolutely terrified of having to get one.

Exactly the way the rest of the US is going - backwards and into the toilet.

How does Iran demonstrate without actually saying that its country has been in decline for centuries from the highest level it reached in terms of sophistication, civilization, and culture.

More Americans should see how Canada will retaliate and what will happen if Trump "tariff taxes" on the American people go ahead. It's no mystery. Trump did this in 2018 and US consumers got burned. This time it's going to be much worse.

Everyone across media should agree to start referring to these tariffs as "Trump TAXES", i.e. a tariff tax on imported goods that all Americans will have to pay because of Trump. More than Trump can play the naming game. If enough people repeat this in the media, the tax moniker will begin to stick.

MAGA does not control the truth beyond the areas it temporarily controls. The rest of the world is a big place and is watching, knows , records for posterity and will remember it all.
