Just because my “representatives” don’t hold my values or agree with my thoughts on policy, doesn’t mean I won’t use my voice to share my concerns. It’s a right I currently have, and I will sleep better at night knowing I tried. I’d rather scream into the void than roll over in acceptance.

The new order is a death knell for public education. I served our nation’s children for 15 years; teaching and guiding students of every race and income level, different nationalities and from kindergarten to 12th grade. My children go to public school. I’m appalled.
