That’s always been my argument against nationalized religion. Christians can’t even agree on their beliefs and practices among each other. How can that possibly be nationalized?

My parents didn’t pay much attention to what I read. I’m currently rereading something I read when I was about 13 and holy heck did a lot of it go over my head! Including some spicy stuff I either didn’t understand or skipped over.

Just finished the whole series that starts with Wrinkle In Time with my 11 year old. He loved the first one, and got to learn the books vs movies lesson. The next books got a little weird. Especially around books 3/4.

Parents fight school phone bans (that benefit kids’ learning) so their kids can send these texts, but don’t fight for common sense gun laws that would greatly reduce the risk of their kid ever needing to send these texts.

That’s what I said when I contacted them about the Costco lawsuit. I thought they believed in capitalism and “go woke go broke?” Let them go broke… or let the consumers speak with their money on the values they uphold.
