solidarity Robin! this is shocking if not entirely surprising in the current German climate. Our UvA didn't make Dimitris' life easy either, but the degree of direct political interference with FU academic choices is certainly beyond the pale.

Because students need the extra time in order to…? Work and do board experience? How helpful of us to support that!

Pictures of banana bread with spinach, ice cream with spinach, cupcakes with spinach now taking shape in my mind. Who needs chat gpt to hallucinate when we have reality.

Parmigiano is your friend. Honestly the only thing that I could really not manage without salt was scrambled eggs/frittata (ew!), still feel guilty at how many saltless frittatas my oldest has been put through. His brother has been quicker at figuring the salt trick.

I will confess here where almost nobody sees it: we don’t do it at home. At first we were broke and we found sale grosso unbearably expensive in NL. Then we ate low-salt with the offspring. Then… I guess we got used to adding it afterwards? My family disapproves of course 😅

And yet we call it goose-step! Maybe that’s what generates so much confusion…
