the analysis of this deal I find annoying is the idea that the Red Sox "cleared $235 million" as if Rafael Devers was dead weight.
They lost Rafael Devers. They will now have to find a way to spend that money on players better than Rafael Devers. That's not easy! It's why Devers got that money!

Getting back to my creative projects is another thing, and those will take significantly longer to come to fruition anyway. I'm just trying to figure out, since I'm online so damn much, if there's anything people would be interested enough to support to get me through.

Like, I dunno. I don't feel like I have anything new to say about the state of the world, but maybe people will connect to what I write. And at least maybe I'd feel better.
