These problems have existed long before AI was ever actually a thing. What the robot is doing now is just telling everyone the quiet part out loud. "You were always replaceable, and the only reason we havent yet is that you are still useful to me as a slave."

Things like copyright and patents only make sense in a world where someone with money not knowing your name can literally kill you through starvation or heat exposure. And even now theyre useless when you have to go up against literal hundreds of lawyers and a fundamentally broken and abused system.

The sheer fact that someone can work 40 hours at most jobs anymore and still not earn enough to have a stable home is why AI is as much a fucked up mess as it is. People have been talking about this for literal decades knowing what was eventually going to happen.
