My partner time-qualified for the Boston Marathon this year. Last fall she had a brain bleed, got brain surgery and many months of recovery (she's only now starting to run again). She wrote to the marathon to ask for a deferral, even offering a note from her surgeon. Got a form denial days later. 😡

Checked into my hotel for the company onsite and was in the elevator to my room. The other person in the elevator with me suddenly said, "Oh, you're CAP! It's so good to meet you! Your Zoom commentary is legendary." It's good to know when your accomplishments are being recognized.
