So, grifters?

I felt like the man who campaigned vanished when he entered the Oval for his first term. I wondered if he'd been threatened.

Damn it John Lithgow's first movie role was of a trans woman in Garp. I've always liked him. I'm so disappointed in him. No excuses for this choice.

Always!

There is no reaching these people. They live in an alternate reality, which is why politicians talking about "bipartisanship" makes me so angry.

My dad was the black sheep of that family...as in he woke up, realized Black people were humans, and left the South. I check in on his acct sometimes just to see what the MAGA are saying. Not a word about Signalgate, but I knew about the SS theft bullshit They hate Omar, too.

I still can't believe she just dropped that storyline after showing a freed elf just drinking her life away b/c she'd been freed and Dobby being considered mentally ill by his fellow elves. I thought we were headed to a finale w/all magical creatures helping to defeat Voldemort.
comment in response to post
Also, Nancy Pelosi apparently planned J6 b/c there's a report that says 35 FBI were hiding in that peaceful mob. All to prevent Trump's rightful 2nd term.

They've been accusing AOC of cashing her dead grandma's SS checks and claiming a million people have called for her to resign. Now they're adding in Jasmine Crockett b/c they hate women so much. Saw this first on my idiot cousin's secret acct. I pop over to see what's new in the fever swamp.

Please get people back from concentration camps. And do something about the lawless executive and DOJ. We can find the farmer's markets on our own. This is a Constitutional crisis.

I just hope that gold shit glued to the fireplace can be removed without damaging it.

And fuck you for thinking a living kid with autism is worth less than a dead kid without.
comment in response to post
No, buddy. Andrew Wakefield was paid £500,000 to discredit the MMR. He had his own patented single dose vaccine ready to take it's place. That is the origin of modern vaccine skepticism. A faked study of 12 kids resulting in 36 counts of fraud, a lost medical license & a move to the US to grift.

Sad, but true.

Did you see her face? Or her hiding her face? There is no "bipartisanship" with fascism.

So if Flu A is in the vaccine. And Flu B ends up being the variant that infects this year, the vaccine isnt going to be effective. One year's miss doesn't disprove vaccines, especially for one that mutates. I suggest you learn about how vaccination works from a reputable site.
comment in response to post
So you dont understand how vaccination works. Maybe start there. The flu virus mutates rapidly, so we get a new vaccine every year. Scientists guess which variant will be most prevalent from what's going on in the other hemisphere (flu is higher in winter months) 1/
comment in response to post
Willful ignorance here? Vaccination is safe and doesnt cause autism. Some of the brain structures in autism begin forming in the 5th month IN UTERO. Stop moving the goalposts and following the grifters. Its not the schedule. It's not the preservatives. It begins & ends with fraud.
comment in response to post
Perhaps you should read your source. Every flu shot is a guess at which strain will be most likely to be worst that year. This says this year's guess was not as effective. It doesnt disprove vaccinations nor does it mention autism. Spell my name like that again, and you're blocked.

JFC. THE GOLD BOOK ON THE TABLE IS EMBOSSED WITH "TRUMP"
comment in response to post
Anyone who insists there is a connection between autism and vaccination is either willfully ignorant or in on the grift.
comment in response to post
Wakefield was paid £500,000 to discredit the MMR. He had his own vaccine ready to replace it. His "study" was a lie and he was convicted of 36 counts of fraud, including against the **12** kids who were victims in his study. There are no legit studies replicating a connection btwn vaxes & autism.

She's never going to be President now. She's not doing a damn thing for her constituents. Appeasement to fascists doesnt work.

Mr Art of the Deal can just refuse to pay until he gets what he wants!

OMG. I've never seen this before. My kids started singing along from the other room. I'd only seen the clapping meme. Thank you. It was perfect for today.

Cry more. No MAGA politician should ever expect to be welcomed in public again.

Hitler killed handicapped people. I've seen Nazi films boasting about who gets sent to the camps that included some poor person with Down Syndrome. Then I think of Trump mocking the disabled reporter.
comment in response to post
They want someone ELSE to blame. That's why they are desperate for some outside cause and for ABA to work.
comment in response to post
I have yet to hear from an adult who went through ABA as a kid that doesn't call it torture.

I'm pretty sure everyone we send to El Salvador is sent to a death camp.
comment in response to post
I mean, we are PAYING El Salvador to take the prisoners, so you think they'd be responsive.

His "study" was of 12 cherry-picked kids. He was convicted of 36 counts of fraud. **If his study had been genuine, it would still have needed larger follow up studies to confirm it** Larger studies were done. No one ever replicated his findings. He's been debunked for DECADES...and here we are.
comment in response to post
Yes, and when that all fell apart he came to the US and moved goalposts. Attacked preservatives and claimed autism was caused by heavy metals. Some poor kids were even put through chelation unnecessarily. He's a monster.
comment in response to post
There are decades of large studies that show no connection between vaccines and autism. The only one that did was Wakefield's fraudulent one of 12 kids that cost him his license (and gave him 36 convictions of fraud)
comment in response to post
But there isn't even correlation for autism and vaccines. The only "study" that showed that connection was Andrew Wakefield's fraud of *12* kids that he was paid £500,000 to do. He was convicted of 36 counts of fraud, lost his medical license, and came to the US to rip people off.
comment in response to post
He was convicted of 36 counts of fraud. His "study" was of *12* cherrypicked kids. Even if it had been a real study, and not a paid for grift, it would have had to be replicated, and it never has been. Thousands are needlessly dead b/c of Andrew Wakefield.

You've been answered repeatedly. We have IDs. You've been told about voter registration and the proposed changes that will affect the suffrage of 69 million women. THAT'S what I'm mad about, not your sea lioning. I assumed there was a point to your question that needed context My bad.

Same reason he wasn't expelled the first time: too many GOP representatives and Senators are complicit.

We've always failed reunification. We gave in to the Confederates time and time again. We let Nixon off instead of jailing him and lots of his compatriots. There's no moving forward.

It's true and a nightmare for my 18 year old who has no credit card/utility bills
comment in response to post
Dude. This is a discussion of the changes the SAFE act will cause. You dont need an ID to vote currently, b/c you provided that info--which you may not have access to decades later--when you registered. Everyone wil be required to show ID at a level most dont have & will be difficult for many to get
comment in response to post
Ronald Reagan Day One! You used to get survivors benefits through college, but not after Ronnie got in. Killed them at 18, and you have to prove you havent graduated high school for them to continue to graduation. I hate Reagan.

She's saying passports aren't an option for most Americans. This law says our current IDs are insufficient to prove our citizenship & makes it more difficult for women & the poor to get the "proper" ID. Legal voters will be disenfranchised b/c they want unnecessary $$$ passport level IDs.
comment in response to post
Voter fraud is basically nonexistent. This is going to deny more people their right of suffrage than prevent crime. A passport is expensive. Acquiring certified documents is expensive. The isnt any reason to enact this law except to prevent citizens, especially women & the poor, from voting.
comment in response to post
Passports dont have addresses, which is why they dont accept that as your only ID. You have to take a lease or credit card/utility/bank statement to prove your address--though subsequently you just notify them of change of address. You cam use just your current DL to renew.
comment in response to post
Why would it? You show those documents to get your driver's license. It does show the state that issued it & all states have safety precautions built in. There's no reason to force people to show citizenship documents all the time, especially since they were shown to get the initial credential.
comment in response to post
If you are elderly, registering to vote can be expensive and onerous. Sometimes records get lost. Voting should be easy. Voter fraud is almost nonexistent.
comment in response to post
They compare signatures. You only register once. You update them when you move so they have an accurate address and send the ballot to the correct polling place. You don't need an ID to vote: you sign a page attesting you are you, they compare signatures and hand you a ballot.
comment in response to post
When you first register to vote at 18 (or 21 as it was when my mom first voted) you provide documentation. You sign your registration, and then every election, you get a mailing to make sure you havent moved and your polling place has your registration & signature. You sign a form to get your ballot
comment in response to post
You have to prove your citizenship and SSN to get a job. Most people have drivers licenses or state IDs, which don't say a thing about citizenship. The elderly may let their DL expire when they cant drive anymore.
