c) If you're only looking for the missing side, and not the angles, this is actually more efficient.
In our Precalc class, we're always trying to circle back to Alg2 topics, and this tied in well with the methods we used to solve and understand quadratic equations/functions.

It's certainly not the most efficient way, but:
a) using the quadratic, it shows that there can be at most 2 solutions
b) the solutions to the quadratic (here, 5+-sqrt(6)) have geometric meaning, whether positive, negative, or unreal

If you know c and C, and are missing a or b, then you have a quadratic, with up to 2 reasonable solutions.
The triangle is ambiguous, not the laws of sine and cosine.

My school has done this in the past (though I haven't taught it this way). Use altitude to justify supplementary angles have same sine.
BUT we also get to the ambiguous case with the law of cosines first, then sines.

They're cutting contracts with large firms, including long-standing DoD contracts. This is dismantling, not privatization.

I'm sorry for the hate you're getting. The silver lining is that these assholes are trying to take you down, so you know you're doing righteous work.

I'll try it with mine.
What are you expecting for e) and f)? My understanding is that the notation implies that f^-1 is also a function.

Well, I do agree that we should remove Lindsey Graham. Makes perfect sense to me.

I read Time Traveller's Guide to Medieval England. It's about everyday lives, but I don't remember if there is something specifically on merchants. Anyway, there are now 4 books.

Technically true, but it still feels like a missed marketing opportunity.
"Endless possibilities," though technically false, is somehow more accurate.
