Hugely agree. I live in Wales in the UK. I don't think I'm on my own in thinking that the US is no longer an ally, and should now be treated as an adversary. Trump has destroyed the US's international standing.

It was always going to be a long shot for misogynistic, racist America to vote in a woman of colour. I reckon half the population would have spontaneously combusted had she won. Such a shame, I'd have loved to have seen that.

I think you might have misunderstood. I meant block access to the gatekeepers and the property owners, not the local people. It won't harm local businesses, just the people who are blocking access to the path.

Maybe it's time for all the local businesses, pubs etc. to bar access to their services until the path is re-opened. It can be really hard to live in a community where you can't use the shops. Businesses are entitled to bar anybody, with no explanation needed.

I've just deleted Google maps from all my devices. Now using waze for directions and OS for maps. Any tech company that encourages the orange gibbon's bad behaviour deserves to be boycotted.

I fully agree. I stumbled across the same film a few days ago. It was definitely an eye-opener. I recommended it on my FB page, but I don't think a single person I know has ever, or will ever, watch it, which I find utterly disheartening.

This is something that makes me angry. I'm glad you said this. The hostages held by Israel have not acted illegally, have had no trial, or had a military trial, are being tortured and mistreated, and there are thousands of them. Many are women and children. These aren't "prisoners".

They replaced all 7 faulty sensors. They are currently sat in my cupboard, as I have no confidence that they will actually work correctly.

It was a fabulous year for you, to be fair. I hope it continues into 2025 for you all. After the last 3 months, I'm just so happy to have survived the year. There were a couple of times when it was very close. On a positive note, it's given me a brand new outlook to take with me into 2025. x
