Sega Genesis Collection is a vibe. Forever grateful I grew up surrounded by videogames in the late 80’s and 90’s.

Listened to @LastStandMedia Punching Up podcast and this game was brought up. At Red Fly Studio (RIP), I helped pitch and work on the pre-production of Thor for the Nintendo Wii as its first designer. Part of a bygone era of licensed games with small budgets and short dev time.

Just stumbled on suddenly my favorite movie quote of all time, and I haven’t even seen the movie.

I have the best wife.

Who knew watching Attack on Titan: The Last Attack would hit even harder in theaters, even after having seen it for the first time just two months prior? And, in 4DX it was an unexpectedly immersive experience. What a treat. I wish more people were open to this masterpiece

Love Hades and had this series saved but unwatched on YouTube for a minute now. I had a chance to pay for great work and now just need to make time to watch it.

I’ve gone from being a pro-wrestling smart that read dirt sheets and attended house shows, to a casual fan who only watches Wrestlemania and any match between my favorite wrestlers still active (AJ Styles, CM Punk, Seth, Cody…). Still, combat storytelling at its finest.

A while back I asked folks why they’re joining Bluesky and the most common response I saw was, “I just want a good place to get my news” and, yall, no. Bad. GET YOUR NEWS FROM THE NEWS PBS Newshour is FREE FOR EVERYONE. youtu.be/PMOYN8JWdUk?...

Control is cool.

I’ll buy a Switch 2. But do you know what will make me excited for it? A brand new F-Zero. Give us an 80’s style, campy Saturday morning cartoon story like in the comic book from F-Zero GX. Make riding insanely fast ships in futuristic courses with a killer OST a reality, and I’m in Day 1.

We need more humorous videogames. Resident Good - The game is still about horror, but the horror of being smothered by overly nice people. Loud Hill - A psychological horror tale of exploring a city that is always crowded, in every room, with people who only want to make small talk. More please…

In Control (I’m now hooked after reaching a certain point in the plot, the Old House, and getting a certain mechanic), I found some guard T-posing in a large room. My guess is this is due to these guys having a distance limit from player of when to update, instead of a player-in-room check.

From laist.com/news/climate...: “Many organizations say donating money and/or signing up to be a trained volunteer (for the current and future disasters) is the best way to help.” Emergency Network Los Angeles: enla.org L.A. Works: www.laworks.com/2025fires

When will google and dictionaries learn? It’s videogames. Not video games. If we can have “clickbait” and “gamechanger,” we can have videogame.

Ninja Gaiden Ragebound. 😍 (Catching up on the Game Awards). Glad Tecmo-Koei hasn’t completely forgotten Ninja Gaiden.

Attack on Titan Final Season is making me rethink global conflict and showing me I’m not as morally righteous as I’d like to think. As much as I hate tribalism, I can be at times as tribalistic as the ones I condemn. Damn, who knew at this age art could still get me like this?

Given I didn’t grow up in the US and am an introvert, Thanksgiving is my favorite time of year as everyone I know is elsewhere enjoying/surviving their family time while I enjoy a peaceful, quiet time with a point-and-click adventure game.

Forever physical.

I completed Silent Hill 2 Remake, and despite roughly fourteen years apart between playthroughs, I got the same bummer, soul-sucking ending as I did in the original SH2.

🦋 WELCOME TO BLUESKY! I recommend exploring our custom feeds, which are a little like hashtags but more interesting. We have them for academic and professional subjects, sports, cities, hobbies (e.g., gardening, baking), and many more. Search them in the sidebar under Feeds. 🧵

I’m curious to play my favorite games ever, Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, now that I’m older and a more experienced game designer. Last I played these games I was still green in the industry, so wonder if I’ll be more critical or appreciate it even more.

(1/2) Upon first playing Metroid Prime, I forced myself to “get into character” as if I were Samus in a strange planet, playing as if my first death could be my last. I vividly remember how immersed this little exercise made me feel, decades later. The experience remains with me.

How am I handling my emotions from the election? - Putting some time aside each week studying books that should, in theory, make sense of current events. - Keep living routine of workouts, relationship, and hobbies. - And by hobbies I mean watching violent anime and playing cozy videogames.

Some light Sunday reading.
