I have reached the REO Speedwagon on repeat part of the apocalypse.

Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods. ...and by the far future you mean some random Wednesday in March 2025?

You know what's shit about playing Japanese Super Famicom games on a 65" display? NOTHING!

Time for a nice romantic video game...

Played a lot of Super Nintendo (Super NT) and Wii this weekend... gotta say the SNES has aged like a fine wine, the Wii like a 90s TV remote.

Now you're playing with power; SUPER POWER!

Here Wii go...

Holy shit the Super NT sounds insane when using TOSLINK to my near field monitors... Looks schmick on the new 65" too.

Received a text from a friend today "You wanted a TV right, yours is stuffed?", "Yes", "Come grab the 1 I have here.". I get there it's 65" which was insane enough given she only wanted AUD$200 (that is USD$3.50) -but- it was also old enough that it still had component, composite and VGA. SCORE!

Porting the 1978 text adventure Quest to MMBasic
