Yes, this. My stress response is to want to spend enormous amounts of time reading novels. Given how stressful everything is, I am going to need a vast supply of books. Writers, keep them coming.

It changed to gulf of America for me here in the northeast US. It must have happened yesterday or very early today, as I checked over the weekend and it still showed the correct name. I reported the error to Google.

One thing I try to do when I can't go to a protest is call my congressfolk about the issue and mention that I am calling in solidarity with the protesters.

There were a few others out there with raskin, aoc, and omar. Plus at least two senators are pledging to block all senate confirmation votes and such. And I've seen a couple more making statements and posts about it.

If their DC voicemail is full, you can try their regional offices - they should have a couple. senate.gov will allow you to find your senator, and their should be a link to their websites, which will list the regional offices.

Yep, it was also my struggle meal when chemo fucked up my tastebuds and killed my appetite. I was fortunate enough to have access to healthcare and good food, but nothing else was even remotely palatable. (I'm cancer free for 4+ years and doing fine now)
