This is so obvious, why aren't they banned already? What's the argument for foreign donors? Are there any legal obstacles to a ban do you know?

Oooh sounds nice. There was a touch of rain in SE London, nothing serious, most of the day was fair and chilly. I love cycling in weather like that. Everything looks crisp and fresh.

Where were you cycling back to and what route did you take?

I knew it must be there! Such a gorgeous stretch of the river, you've captured it beautifully 😍

It was an accident- the sweet green icing camouflaged it against the grass. It went unnoticed until everybody was looking for the cake and when they saw the sweet green icing flowing down, everyone was like "uh oh...someone left the cake out in the rain". No one admitted it though.

My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion.
I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston.
Basically most female artists who clench their fists when the sing and sound like a cat being thrown out of a tower block.

He is my absolute hero. An individual on the spectrum with a dry sense of humour and more than a touch of genius who is entirely reasonable. It must be hard living alongside the Whos.

Oh I agree, absolutely- and my view may be coloured by my workplace, because I work in justice and a lot of us there are ND- but the NT general presumption is that we are deficient in our ability to discern the difference and control ourselves and people using it as an excuse feeds that belief.

I'm on the spectrum too and I absolutely knew that this card would be played at some point. It's part of the whole "I'm sorry, I don't understand, I'm not like you" defence that almost certainly proves you're not ND because most ND people I know have a highly attuned sense of right and wrong.

Where do you live?? I'm in the UK, we don't have this abundance of treasures in our libraries. I feel a need to suggest this kind of thing now!

I'm arty- didn't get any of the sciences at school but enjoy learning about them now. To me, arts and sciences are like night and day- both have their own wonder- and the points where they meet and blend, like dawn and dusk, are breathtaking and magical.

I always found it strange that it's taken as true that the writer of "that which does not kill you makes you stronger" was paralysed due to syphilis- so he was quite a long time not dying without getting any stronger, it seems.

Your choices are valid. Your assumption that I would 'clearly like people to suffer' is not. I have expressed concerns about the safeguarding measures to protect people who may feel forced into decisions. You don't actually know how I feel about those who genuinely want it.

Sadly I think you may be right.
