And highest elevation airport. I've flown in/or if it and got the hat to prove it. 😀

The EO is horrendous, and I thank you for posting this SUPER INFORMATIVE text. I knew there were more than two, but not so many as ~30 options. Fascinating.

Please...please...PLEASE begin exploration steps toward a 2028 presidential campaign. There simply aren't any other adults in the room, INCLUDING among the Democratic party.

I got (very) politely accosted by a frustratedly-puzzled Melbournian last Thursday for the same reasons. He was genuinely curious as to why "Americans" in general would elect such an obvious criminal idiot.

I *desperately* hope that lone controller has all the mental health support they need going forward. It's not THEIR fault their agency was understaffed to the point of criminal danger to their customers.

I think this is what English subjects felt during the early reign of George III(?) before he got over his "brain fever" or whatever.

You clearly aren't understanding. This conversation is over.

Yes, exactly. So I want them to have it reach people. Pointedly related pics do that better and I simply hoped to gently poke them to raise engagement for the very reasons you properly state. That post was equal to a shoulder shrug. To do its job, it needs to be compelling. Quality pics do that.

@mississippifreepress.org [said very gently] This post doesn't compel me to click/read it. Why is there a picture of SCOTUS? That image isn't engaging enough for the text. Why is this simply a statement with no "call to action" as far as clicking/reading?

I love Grocery Outlet, but it's important to note that with the low prices comes significantly lower quality of products across the board, UNLESS they happen to be selling actual major retailer overstock/slow-selling items or one that is near its expriration date and was pulled from majors' shelves.

Thank you for that, especially in joke form. I have a ridiculous vocabulary and appreciate adding to it. Conceptually, I see "apophenia" as a semi-corollary to Dunning-Krueger effect in the worst cases, which explains a lot.

There is ZERO right-oriented affinity in my profie, yet on the 21st, my Meta accounts were suddenly FLOODED with rightwing-oriented vendors and services for the first time. I spent an hour blocking those ads to the exclusion of all else.

Civics and critical thinking classes every other year from 3rd grade through 12th AND as required college lower division courses would go a long way to solving lots of life's BS.

For the SC spoiler: Do you think that if this show had been tipped to an older audience it would have worked, or would it have had to "grave" a feel? [Personally I don't "mind" the kiddie bent, but think this could have been a smashing adult-level adventure as well.]

I switched to a diversity of major European sources of global news more five+ years ago & have never looked back. US news devolved to "entry level" media; electronic versions of "USA Today." Use @euractiv.com, Monocle Radio, @DW, @lemonde-en.bsky.social, @afpfr.bsky.social, BBC to start.

Little help, please: I'm a fully-globalized-yet-American "news junkie" but with so many people/parties to keep track of at this distance, if Euractiv writers could include a word or two that orients left-vs-right orientations for named parties/people in published stories, I'd be grateful. Thx.
