This 100% counts. When I’m anywhere with more people, this is the 100% best one.

We'll still take trips to New York, likely quarterly. But here is home!

Most definitely! I always feel it’s a loss if someone does that. With my friends if someone does something amazing, I say, heck yeah, I know someone that did that! That’s exciting! Of course I want my friends to do well and be happy. People are the average of their friends.

Of course! It’s a requirement to ask before a hard erase. But how many times does someone have to click away that box in frustration and get forced to pay attention to that Ok or Cancel? Minimum amount of thought.

I turn the timer off when I use it, unless I’m setting the timer to go off when I’m working in another room!

Kid me: this is fun to play with!
Adult me: what do you mean the screen is frozen and I have to through 12 menu items just to order a simple thing?

It’s way more fun to invest in AI than paid people to help other people.

As a minor chaos provider, the person with the super loud call knows they are fundamentally safe. No one will provoke them because they know that if their behavior is antisocial in one way, it might be even more antisocial in other ways. Best not to provoke. Just grimace until it passes.

Why would a conductor do something anyways? Someone doing that on a train could be super unpredictable and it’s unsafe for them to enforce it. It’s just mildly dystopic enough to frustrate everyone, but I feel this is going to become a norm.

On a train in New York a woman entered with her video call on hugely loud speakerphone, and she announced loudly into the call that she was annoying everyone on the train and that they cringe every time they see her. She got off a stop later, and the conductor came by and couldn’t do a thing.

It’s interesting, because it’s clearly bringing joy to them. So why not? But it’s noise pollution to everyone else. They’re not included in the convo. The volume is crazy loud.
Second time this trip people have done this on a plane.

Outdoor indoor area
Chill area next to coffee/drinks/ample water in glass bottles
Tables and chairs, not just chairs, so there’s some breathing room in the main zone
Incredible stage design and craft

Also, it’s the perfect conference experience. It’s at a theatre. There’s a bell that rings to call people back into sessions a bit early so they can get settled before each talk.
No talks are back to back
All talks have breaks between them
Sponsors are blended in beautifully
Live DJ inbetween
