It finally clicked why Nickelback is a tough listen for me. Most of their music (exc. Leader of Men, obviously) sounds like it was vetted thru a focus group and approved by a committee. Like a marketing consulting group with instruments. And that's hard for me to connect with.

Anyone know what happened to the Lords of the Underground? Did they end up above ground and get demoted?

This Duke's Mayo Bowl commentary is too much. These guys have taken the brand promotion to the absolute max. It's reminiscent of the SNL skit with Jason Sudeikis commenting on bowling. Amazing, just loving it.

At one point I was worried that I missed out on disco and only got the panic, but, upon further review, I think it's fine.

I poured a whole bottle of ranch dressing down the drain today, and I feel bad for the old southern guy who felt a disturbance in the force.

There are some scenes in TV series that I watch over and over again, because they completely capture the vibe and strength of the protagonist. The Darts scene in Ted Lasso. Michael sells to the public school system in The Office. Any others?

I think the thing that separates that one classic rock station from the other classic rock station is that one plays Rush, and the other one most definitely does not. Am I wrong?
