never forget Jac Caglianone’s no-fun celly, Royals are getting a real one

I disagree with Rand Paul on a million things, but this magnificently explained, and he is 10000% correct

sometimes you pitch an article, black out, and then wake up 2000 words later with no real recollection how any of it happened www.pcgamer.com/games/strate...

In an exercise that is sure to enrage no one, we ranked our top NFL fanbases on the pod. My pick for #1? THE ATLANTA FALCONS. Fight me! 🎧: apple.co/4jS2Nri 📺: youtu.be/XTg02DgPAiQ?...

This Jeopardy tyke seems like a humorless scold

my humble opinion is that if your job is to manage risk and make big decisions about markets and you screw up your judgement this badly you should be disqualified from ever managing money and also shunned completely from speaking on the subject in public again

Fox Business host befuddled by how the Trump administration calculated their tariffs: "Those numbers, that were on that grid, they don't mean anything." Dagen McDowell: "They came up with it because they were in a hurry to cobble something together ... that was pretty clear"

Over time, Donald Trump has vacillated, hedged or flip-flopped on just about every political issue of our time. The one glaring exception: He has been a true and consistent believer in tariffs since the 1980s. Anyone who’s surprised by this policy hasn’t been paying attention.

WH has now confirmed: this is insane nypost.com/2025/04/02/u...

Here's another fun one. The European Union is tariffed at 20%. French Guiana, which is an overseas department of France, is separately tariffed at 10%. Enjoy that loophole, Europe!

Seriously, it would be a tremendous act of service journalism for some economics reporter to write the piece on what a) everyday household items b) major purchases will spike first.

OH MY GOD. WALTER CLAYTON JR. #Gators

You cannot make this shit up. Sharing this jaw-dropping story with a gift link -- give it a read.

a good example of how the world is getting dumber. the new politico playbook writer didn't know who FDR was until a reader told him about that whole "new deal" thing. this newsletter is read by every important person in DC.

LOL

That smile as he hit the 'Hey Drake, I hear you like 'em young' was some sociopath shit and I am HERE FOR IT.

Drake is the all-time biggest loser of a rap feud and that includes people who have gotten shot and died as a result of rap feuds

Imagine getting bullied in front of 100+ million people.... while everyone cheers

There has never been a larger victory in any competition than Kendrick’s over Drake

All I want this halftime show to do is piss off the worst people in the world.

this is where the rubber meets the road. NIH doesn't just fund research univs and hospitals in blue states. if anything they're most important to regional economies in the reddest states and districts.

🐊🏀FINAL: No. 6 Florida #Gators complete 90-81 win over No. 1 Auburn, UF's first victory over a top-ranked team on the road in program history. One of five teams in NCAA history to beat No. 1 at home, on road in same season. 👀How it happened: www.onlygators.com/02/08/2025/f...

I had a friend ask if calling your senator/rep really makes a difference. I think it's important to understand the full context of your call and why it matters! I spent a summer after college answering phones for a senator, and I can tell you unequivocally it was humbling, exhausting and hard work.

Cannot emphasise enough that the Politico Pro service covers the nerdiest, wonkiest stuff imaginable. It would put most people to sleep. There is nothing sexy about it. (I’m gone now, I can say that.) But it is useful, vital even, for policy professionals to do their jobs. It does not deserve this.

Scoop: A Canadian trucking company told WIRED 2 of their trucks were turned away at the US borders today because they contain de minimis (<$800) packages from China. USPS also announces it will stop accepting parcels from China, both an impact of Trump's China tariff EO www.wired.com/story/tariff...

So Justin Trudeau is now saying the tariffs have been paused for 30 days as they implement a new border plan. Basically, after the markets freaked, Trump backed off of the threats while Mexico and Canada essentially promised to do things that they were already doing.

The first Senators to actually do anything about the Trump admin

Not even Tom Brady and his terrible commentary can ruin how fun this game is

Kevin Burkhart (announcing my grocery store trip): There's the milk, there's some bread, and wow, he's going for the ice cream! Tom Brady: The supermarket is a place where fresh and pre-packaged food is sold for consumption by humans.

Making us suffer through Tom Brady in the playoffs is just mean.

oh wow The Library of Congress has a trove of images “free to use and re-use” that are in the public domain - and they’re fantastic

Holy moly, Florida basketball.
