Why just the UK?
I’m a Brit who lives in southern Germany and lost it, too.
Don't take it so personally, Edwin.

4-Year Mistakes
It must be extremely depressing for Republican voters who chose Trump. To top that depression is the knowledge that Trump1 and the attacks on Capitol Hill were fully known before they voted, and they still chose him.
This is a very special kind of stupidity; it’s called masochism.

This is equivalent to Boris Johnson’s, ‘fuck business’ after Brexit.
The vast egos and nationalistic ideals of narcissistic demagogues have priority over the economic well-being of the electorate and business.

Looking at who is displaying this, I suspect irony. 😀

I fully agree with the sentiment, but why is ‘y’ used in the spelling of happiness?
Is this a Trumpism I missed? 🙂

It looks quite deliberate, so the chaos and social disorder created require martial law, and autocratic rule can be introduced to quell the social unrest, bypassing the democratic checks and balances of the US Constitution.
Straight out of the Steve Bannon playbook.

Capital Gain Tax Loopholes
A Wealth Tax
Most of the rich don't have a ‘day job’ making their income from stock market investments.
The best way for the HMRC to obtain a Wealth Tax out of the obscenely rich is to minimise the Capital Gains Tax loopholes shown here:

Visiting the US
Unless it were business related with a well-written letter of invitation, I don't think it advisable for anyone to visit the US for reasons of pleasure.
Some ICE agents enjoy their power, playing fast and loose with the US Constitution and the rights of people entering the country.

Desperate times created by DESPERATE REPUBLICANS.
Trump was handed an economy recovering well from the high inflation if 2022 and 2023.
Let’s be straight, this chaos was deliberately created so that Trump could use ‘wartime’ legislation to change the US to an extreme right, white Christian wet dream

I left Twitter some time ago when I was known as BrummiePaul.
Are you still creating and selling artworks?

It’s also a classic Disaster Capitalism technique used by populists under the pretence of nationalism. Good for the country!
