Trying Zurmat with a Carcassonne like river expansion... Should be interesting

Dang. I was so busy running games and playing games I missed this. Nice surprise to see Arabian Struggle here!

Upgrade components for the upcoming Lonely Cairn Kickstarter

Something interesting this way comes...

This was the most interesting find at SD Histcon yesterday. Really want to learn more about how this system works, probably the best I've seen trying to incorporate modern equipment and operations into a tactical game.

Those attending SDHistcon tomorrow I'll be running True Command at 1600 EST and walking thru "The State of Catastrophe" (Games that is, not the state of the world) tabletop.events/conventions/...

Almost.... Almost made it through the NW Passage, then there was the storm, the TB, and heavy ice twice... Lonely Cairn, our next game!

We ended True Command on a cliffhanger! Both @letsplayhistory.bsky.social and @hethwill.bsky.social were locked in battle on a bridge both needed to control with 1 turn left in the game, but ran out of time! Who would end up in control??? Thanks for playtesting the game gents!

Neustart was exactly what I was hoping it would be! Loved my first Emergency Response game! Loving the ACDC so far! @armchairdragoons.bsky.social Oh, and had a great time with True Command as well this morning!

True Command will be on the ACDC both SAT & SUN. And, bonus, I get to play a game myself. Going to give Neustart a shot, love to see emergency response games on the table! (especially a game you didn't know existed)

Without question the weirdest art I've ever approved for use in a game...

Finally have rules done (draft anyway) for True Command, division level combat in WW2. Yes, I've had my version of the rules for years now, but somehow I don't think it counts until someone else looks at it and irons it out a bit.

More praise for Arabian Struggle! And remember, first time designers too.

Arabian Struggle made to the top of Grant's (Pushing Cardboard) favorite 2024 games! Congrats (again) Tim and Nick! pushingcardboard.com/articles/lis...

My daughter's Christmas gift marries my loves of gardening and Civ by creating a hex flower stepping stone based on Civ terrain... What a proud plant parent I will be in the spring!

Stupid T72 PLT somehow survives 4 Abrams and 4 Brads beating on it from point blank so no win for NATO tonight! Grumble grumble grumble...

Forward Defense '85. 2nd battle. First fight was easy, CO Team took no losses. This battle was brutal. Crappy dice rolls had T80s rolls over 1 M1 PLT. In the end we chased the surviving T80 away. BN isn't happy...

Armchair Dragoons are launching their year end survey. Let them know how your gaming went for 2024. armchairdragoons.com

Rebel player: "I'm going to play my "Surprise Attack" card using my best units against the Assad player's unit in Western Aleppo." Rolls 2 sixes, critical success. Rolls another pair of sixes to determine damage, and automatically wins the game on turn one. Russian and Iran players rage quit...

End of a great game of War of Whispers over the holiday. My youngest daughter totally had me fooled until the big reveal at the end. Love this game!

Happy Friday! Blue Panther has been busy! Those with preorders should soon get their games.

If you are looking for a game, stop by U-con this weekend and hang out with Christopher and me!

Arabian Struggle at SDHistcon! Someday I'll be there....
