My #gamedev motivation has been more or less dead, so I've been tinkering with something fangame-y for now. May or may not ever see light of day. Got some stuff together, but I dunno what engine to pick. Godot is what I want to work with for myself. Unity/Unreal could give me experience. Thoughts?

Had a nice and much-needed rest over Christmas, then spent the last couple of days making some awesome progress! There's now two styles of enemies: ones that track you and ones that streak across the screen. Also, ground clutter that is chosen on map generation. #gamedev #screenshotsaturday #solodev

Well, PC hardware upgrade is done. Not much of an upgrade, as the primary goal was to replace the ailing motherboard. However, computer does seem to be a bit snappier, so that's nice.

Yay a new CPU/motherboard soon! This motherboard is falling apart (almost literally - bluetooth doesn't work and the USB ports can be sketchy, and the M.2 slot might be questionable). It's not much of an upgrade but I'm okay with that. I just want it stable.

Wow. Hostinger does NOT let me alter my DNS settings unless I have a hosting plan. I wish I hadn't just renewed or I'd switch away in a moment. Too broke for crap, dammit. I wanted to use my domain for my handle here. :<
