And theyd write something about the rom sometimes, making it all more fun.
In 2020 I was posting on SA about my memories of an ancient 90s site with some roms. Talking about the guy, then suddenly that very guy shows up like "hey, that was my site." The community was so small back then.

Crippling insomnia is how I get most of my reading done.

It doesn't do that, other AIs in the past did (like Microsoft's Tay) but they go off the rails. Like Tay got racist.
The P in GPT stands for "pretained", to adjust a model it needs a full fine-tuning which is significant. They may use some conversations for fine-tuning but likely not.

I said it's not a good faith database because it's not lol. Alpindale is a total troll and absolutely did this (and posted this) in bad faith. It doesn't change what the database is, but it probably changes how it will be maintained.
Nothing to do with the stuff I said Im not arguing against.

I'm not arguing for or against any of that, I'm just telling you how HF is likely to respond, especially if they get those requests from Americans and GDPR from Europeans (which, while more restrictive in the sense that it applies to fewer people, does cover things like bluesky posts)

I suddenly realized the importance of this this week. I was always supportive but vaguely uncomfortable with the idea before like anyone who grew up shielded from death. Moved to a country where death is very present, found myself this week thinking "my God, just give her enough morphine and end it"

It's not about that, but HF arent jerks, and they're also not gonna be willing to go and prune someone elses database. They'll eventually remove it rather than deal with the hassle especially when the database maintainer also wont be willing to at all. This isn't really a good faith database lol.

That's the way to do it. I wanted to say more before but, character limit
Even though the request is for just your data, if others request theirs HF will eventually take it all down, just to avoid the hassle. I think that's a guarantee with this eventually, so if others do it it will happen faster.

Huggingface is your best bet.
Generally DMCA takedown requests for this sorta thing can get your data removed, but rarely more.
I'm not saying it's ok, just that it doesnt really work the way people often think (like trying to GDPR a possibly non-Endividual) and to temper expectations.

GDPR can be very scary, I had to handle GDPR issues for a major political party that had members in Europe, but an individual who may or may not be in Europe will not be getting a Subject Access Request letter. Maybe hugginface? But that's realistically as far as you can get.
