This is some sick shit

Dear senators who think you can’t do anything, Today, Senator Van Hollen - through diplomatic pressure - got a meeting with Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. So that thing you’re thinking about doing? DO IT. ~ All of Us

38 of the 43. "38 of 43 experts cut last month from boards that review science and research in NIH laboratories are female, Black or Hispanic. "The scientists typically serve five-year terms and were not given a reason for their dismissal..." www.washingtonpost.com/science/2025...

The good news is that the constitution provides ways for Congress and the Judiciary to reign in a power-hungry president. The bad news is those people are all scared of him.

I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

Great show @lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com - trump didn’t place his hand on the Bible when he took the oath of office- maybe he thinks that nullifies the oath.

This, alone, justifies a holding of contempt. Garcia's return is not "faciliated" if he is denied entry and possibly returned to El Salvador. Yet, the DOJ is arguing this is actually how his return has been facilitated. It's madness.

HAPPENING NOW: At the federal courthouse in Greenbelt, Maryland, Judge Paula Xinis is set to begin a hearing on the government’s efforts – or lack thereof – to “facilitate” the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland resident who was wrongly removed to El Salvador. Follow along for updates ⬇️

“A threshold was crossed today, when Donald Trump said out loud that he’s more than ready to begin taking American citizens and putting them in a foreign gulag. We have all been warned.” www.americaamerica.news/p/snapshot-h...

The Declaration of Independence lists 27 specific grievances against King George III, so I started highlighting the same offenses that Donald Trump has also committed. So far I count 10 in whole & 4 in part, while Trump is threatening/planning several more (items 5, 9, 11, 15, 20, & 23). Thoughts?

If Trump can claim a "national emergency" to disappear legal residents without due process, what’s to stop him from doing the same to U.S. citizens who oppose him? No one is safe — not even people legally in the country, possibly not even American citizens. Fascism is here.

Marco Rubio just announced 10 more people were sent to be imprisoned in CECOT. They were flown there from Gitmo to be imprisoned potentially for life based not on any crime for which they were convicted, but on unproven allegations of gang membership with no due process. This is not lawful.

This was three months ago.

“There are the things that never came up in the campaign that are now happening—some are cruel and seemingly pointless—things that make you wonder, who voted for this?” says @chrislhayes.bsky.social. Check out the National History Day page here: NHD.org/donate

Some personal news: the Department of Homeland Security has given me, an immigration lawyer born in Newton, Massachusetts, seven days to leave the U.S. Does anyone know if you can get Italian citizenship through great-grandparents?

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA): "I'm writing to the White House to demand who knew in advance that the President was going to, once again, flip flop on tariffs. And are people cashing in? There is just all too much opportunity for people in the White House and the administration to be insider trading"

In the dead of night, the Senate advanced Trump’s budget. A great night for billionaires — a bad night for everyone else.

Makes ya think
