Almost nothing to report for day#6 of #aholidayathome permission to be (nearly) idle - tried on the skirt I made on day#5 waist too big! (why do I sew without trying on?) fixed that. Examined holes in four pairs of #handknitsocks mended one pair chucked the rest. Cooked, watched TV

Thursday, clear bright & chilly. In my small bathroom, about to jump (clamber!) into bath when I miss treading on a newt by an inch. Fascinated to see it but how did it get in? Re-homed it after time spent Googling sites on newt welfare. By then bath was tepid.
