I'm really sad for the Dragon Age Veilguard voice actors who never got to speak about their work because EA never signed the SAG AFTRA contract protecting their talent from AI. They got to do one interview and that's it. Depressing.

Hawke has decided she doesn't want to go with Stroud to scout out Adamant Fortress but would like to come along to take the Western Approach with me. Welcome to the Inquisition, Lady Hawke 🫡 (love finding new glitches) #DragonAgeInquisition #Cassandrawillbemad #DragonAge #BioWare #glitch #Hawke

i did some math and wrote a story about it www.polygon.com/analysis/520...

The idea that story-driven games aren’t replayable is so strange to me. I eventually bounce off every multiplayer game because I get bored, but I go back to story games again and again just like rewatching a favorite movie, or to experience something new

Look, I'm not a fancy CEO guy, but if someone said to me "the key to this successful single-player IP's success is to make it purely a multiplayer game. No, not a spin off: fundamentally change the DNA of what people loved about the core game" to me, I'd probably, like, quit that job or something.

I'M SO TIRED OF YOUTUBERS AND GAME JOURNALISTS USING PICTURES OF TAASH FROM EMOTIONAL SCENES AS THUMBNAILS TO HATE ON THEM

Looking for some Canadian games because of reasons? Ideally Canadian published too? Eternal Strands pops to mind. Made by Marc Laidlaw or Mike Darrah or something.

Bottom of my ❤️, Dantics can kick rocks. The game first, people last, mentality needs to end. If he or anyone can’t see how mass layoffs will affect the studio, employees (past & present), moral & games in general, maybe he should just stick to gaming and not commenting.

I am proud of a lot of things I worked on as part of Dragon Age, but my proudest achievement? Making sure the Wedge of Destiny is in the game. Bounce, my glorious emmental. Bounce. (To all that ask - yes, it is canonically emmental. I made the item, I think that gives me ultimate authority).

Karin and Trick are two of the most talented folks in their role I've ever worked with. Would strongly recommend if you have positions open.

I'll echo Mike here and highly recommend both Karin and Patrick to anyone looking for a fantastic and highly-experienced editor or writer, respectively. And, just once, I'd like to see a studio announce these kinds of layoffs without making it sound like a cheery plus for the company.

Best representation goes to Dragon Age: The Veilguard!

this is the sneakiest, weirdest way to announce layoffs so far. The amount of mental gymnastic to avoid saying the word and spin the thing into a positive-sounding announcement is mind-blowingly sad...

'Reimagine how we work', 'agile', just say layoffs, not corporate buzzwords. You can't disguise what this is.... I love BioWare and all it has brought to my life and the lives of so many. This is nothing but sadness. blog.bioware.com/2025/01/29/b...

Some of the saddest layoffs in BioWare today. More veterans from Dragon Age and Mass Effect. It feels like an ending, and it's heartbreaking to see them go like this I wish them nothing but the best. #thankyouDADevs

Taking the leap into Bluesky 👋

Don’t do Ketamine, kids…

Trying to think of some stupid silly test stickers. #Manfred #DragonAge

Looking at the camera like in the office as older relatives question why its so warm recently. How odd. How strange. How could this happen.
