Dear American Christians, The "persecution" you scream about has nothing to do with you being Christian. It's actually just accountability for how you discriminate against LGBTQ people, immigrants, women, other religions and other marginalized groups. Sincerely, A Christian for ALL human rights

It's telling how easy it's been for institutions to detach their diversity departments and initiatives. I don't mean as a policy decision, I mean just physically and practically these were set up as peelable stickers, not actual structural changes.

It's important to follow cats as well as politics on your feed so that when your blood pressure starts to rise, you see something cute to bring it back down. I also have a browser extension on chrome called Make America Kittens Again. It replaces pics of Cheeto Mussolini with kittens.

apnews.com/article/civi... Note how this freeze on civil rights cases is framed in bureaucratic terms. Meanwhile ICE apparently accidentally picked up American citizens in New Jersey. If ICE "accidentally" picks me up in a raid, is that not a civil rights case?

So...some Republican is proposing a constitutional amendment that would allow Trump to run for another term. Given how few amendments that have actually passed...not likely. Meanwhile, on a casual list of things he has actually done...no new civil rights cases??? That should be the headline.
