truly, some folks believe “the government doesn’t owe you anything.” but they actually do. that’s why governments exist — to take care of their citizens. to pool resources in order to solve large-scale problems.

This is your PSA that some wheelchair users are ambulatory: we can stand and even walk a little. Think of it like this: an abled person can walk a mile. But for an 80 mile trip they're more likely to use a tool like a car or train. Same deal, shorter distances for ambulatory wheelchair users.

We talked with the owners today and they gave us til midnight tomorrow. We spent the day dashing and with what we received through our ko-fi goal and dashing earnings, we were able to pay $1500 towards rent. The remaining balance is $1682.34 thanks to late fees.

One thing Democratic leadership could do right now is to name an alternate HHS secretary--someone to provide ongoing public updates and health information. And do it for other departments too. Start showing voters what a Democratic government would look like--press conferences, speeches, all of it.
