Same! I’ve been calling every day and have never reached an actual person at either Peter’s or Slotkin’s offices, just voicemail. I usually speak to a human at Rep. Stevens office.

A local business I love is Walking Lightly, a plastic-free store that you can refill soap, oils, shampoo, and lotion. Also has plastic free dishwasher pellets, and compostable storage bags.

Thank you for such a positive post! It made me think of all the great travel overseas I’ve had the privilege to do and reflect on great memories. Needed that today

So many! I loved being in Paris and seeing people on lunch breaks sitting in the Tuileries Garden, with wine, not rushing. I also love that the French vote on a weekend, so participation is higher.

Anxiety attacks are incredibly scary. Im so sorry. I read somewhere that a strategist said that he would be more worried if the regime were taking time and going slowly and I try to take some comfort in that. As an anxious person, I’ve been upping meditation time! Sending you peace!

I’m glad it’s been helping you. The blows keep coming and it’s difficult not to be depressed by everything.

I’m scared too. Anti-depressant meds literally saved my son’s life and he’s thriving in college now. So worried.

I also just reread Margaret Atwood’s Mad Adam trilogy this past month and it feels very terrifyingly relevant these days.
