Lots of experience there. I’ve seen a David Heath video where he uses a malt pipe as a hop spider. A trick I’ve used is a hop spider for dissolving candy sugar to keep it off the elements. Sugar spider 🕷️.

UK indeed. It was down to 3 degrees at one point so I’d say slow chill compared to having anything fancy. I’ve heard of people dropping their cubes into swimming pools to cool the beer!

I used to get this with a small plastic bucket. My wife got me a bigger stainless conical for Christmas- more headspace. Not had any trouble since.
