Men, mostly "christian" in the US have fallen for the manly man eating meat ads put out by Big Ag, which is the 2nd biggest lobby behind big oil. Fast food chains are owned by "christians", so many christian nationalist types support them. The death of the rainforest and rise in diabetes awaits.

This has been going on for years, people weren't aware of it or thought it didn't matter, now we have the "government" we never wanted. Tax money for the wealthy, 49th in education. Abortion and voting rights restrictions. Legislators that only represent one side.

I'm pretty sure my high school teacher that survived the Nazi camps with a tattoo on his arm would NOT stand with Israel on this. The reason they showed us movies of the death camps in high school was to stop it from happening again. Some in my generation seem confused about this.

Some of us have been fighting to save public education for many years, this all starts with the ignorance of the population. When you work in the field and see a large percentage of adults that can't read or pronounce words with 3 or more syllables, the billionaires have outspent us.

There is no sense of responsibility to others (or the climate) any more, at least in rural and uneducated parts of US. Nobody reads. In MAGA Az. if you suggested reducing consumption they would get in their giant pickups and drive to the In and Out, because you are suggesting a sort of neutering.
