Visibility may be clearer than expected there. Proceed with caution: this storm is unstable and fast-moving. Eyes to the sky, other regions may see sudden drops in temperature. Stay unpredictable.

“Lonnie G. Bunch, the secretary, has the support of the Board of Regents in his authority and management of the Smithsonian.” The message was clear: Trump does not control the nation’s museums.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Peaceful resistance is our code but we will protect our own. Watch your sector. The network grows. They hunt us because we refuse to kneel. The Force is with us. And we are with each other. P.S. And yes, before you ask, we’re totally national park geeks. 😉

So what is the $138 million for "travel, housing, and food" being spent on? Sleeping on the floor isn’t normal housing. bsky.app/profile/vict...

Find your nearest gathering. Lend your voice, your strength, and be counted. Wherever we stand together, we are stronger. Wherever we show up, we shine light into the darkness. The greater our numbers, the greater our safety. We have friends everywhere. Who will stand with us on 6/14?

Trump has pledged to deport record numbers of people in the country illegally and lock down the US-Mexico border, setting ICE a goal of arresting at least 3,000 migrants a day 8/9

Newsom accused Trump of trying to manufacture a crisis and violating California's state sovereignty. 'These are the acts of a dictator, not a president,' he wrote in a post on X 7/9

Every American should now assume that martial law and the United States Marines are coming to your city to police you. It is illegal; it represents the end of democracy; and yet I would be shocked if even a single Marine objects to these obviously unconstitutional and nakedly fascist orders.

Sorry, we should’ve explained this better. Some may not realize that flash-bangs have been caught on video starting fires. It’s likely unintentional, but it’s creating serious problems on the ground.

Trump instigated this entirely on his own. You don’t overrun a state’s National Guard without a request from that state, that’s a violation of constitutional limits. He manufactured a crisis.

One international journalist has already been injured by police while reporting on the ground. When even foreign press aren’t safe, you know the truth is something they’re trying to suppress.

This morning, Trump thanked the National Guard for handling protests they weren’t even present for. That’s how far they’ll go to sell the lie. Trump wants this fight, not to keep peace, but to justify using the military against Americans. A textbook authoritarian move.

Yesterday, the LAPD released a statement calling the protests peaceful. They had no reason to do that, except that it’s true. Meanwhile, the administration is planting instigators and inflaming tensions to justify its own lawless actions. No one, not even Trump, gets to trample the Constitution.

Here at home, the media is pushing a false narrative of “LA riots” using images of burning cars, fires that were started by police. Why? Because chaos sells. And because they’re afraid of losing access to Trump. But this isn’t journalism. It’s complicity.

This is the crisis the administration wanted to manufacture, just like January 6. Trump it’s time to send ICE home and calm the situation you manufactured down!

Most protesters have been peaceful. Yes, there have been incidents on all sides, MAGA extremists trying to run over protesters with vehicles, government forces attacking innocent people and journalists, and peaceful demonstrators pushed so far by brutality that they are provoked into reacting.

3/ just play into Trumps hands. And this comment isn’t directed to the people who were the protesting today and yesterday, the vast majority of whom as far as I can tell were doing so peacefully. It’s directed at people here encouraging acts of violence.

2/ making. He created the crisis and now he’s trying to exploit it. This is an attack on the self government and sovereignty of the state of California which has all the tools it needs to maintain civil order. Everyone has the right to protest this brazen abuse of power. Any acts of violence …
